Kide

Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 November 2026 · Suomeksi

Kide is a flashcard app. It works fully on your device without an account. If you create an account, Kide syncs your decks between your devices, and you can connect AI assistants to it. This policy explains what that involves.

Without an account

Your decks, cards, review history and images stay on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

With an account

To sync, Kide stores on its server:

This data is used only to provide sync and the features you use. It is not end-to-end encrypted: the server can read it so that AI assistants you connect can work with your cards.

AI assistants and connectors

You can connect AI assistants to Kide through its MCP server (see Use Kide with AI). When you do:

What we don't do

Where it's stored

Kide runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and R2), which processes the data on our behalf. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Server logs that record requests are kept for a short time for operations and security.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete Account. This deletes your account and all of your synced data, including images, from the server, revokes every connected assistant and revokes Sign in with Apple. Nightly backups are kept for 14 days and then removed, so deleted data is gone from backups within 14 days. You can also choose to keep or erase the copy on your device.

Children

Kide is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Significant changes will be mentioned in the app.
